Fulfillment of Humanity’s Drive

Humanity enjoys the challenge of exploration

With the test of cultivating America, people risked their lives, such as the Lewis and Clark expedition, and even made it it’s own era-The Age of Exploration.

Mars fulfills and even supports this drive, by giving us a challenge and a new place to explore.

Why limit ourselves?

My dad often would ask me “if I held up a 1 millimeter by 1 millimeter square to the sky at arm’s length, and took a picture of it, how many galaxies would be in that area?”

The answer is more than ten thousand.

There is so much out there, so much space to explore. With the possibility of trillions of galaxies, why are we limiting ourselves? Why are we stopping ourselves from going somewhere we’re more than capable of cultivating?

In a universe of trillions of galaxies, possibly sextillion planets, and 200 billion trillion stars, why are we limiting ourselves to one planet?
